What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is our natural ability to be fully present.

It can be described as a form of awareness based on "being" i.e "non-doing”. It is a practise of being in the present moment and of getting to know our own minds and bodies.

This practice allows us to notice our patterns of thinking and create space for insight

With mindfulness we can learn to respond to our experiences with a sense of clarity and choice rather than reacting out of habitual patterns.

Practising mindfulness allows us to become aware of the life we are creating for ourselves, and to look at the bigger picture and observe whether this is in line with our values.

  • Mindfulness Session

    45-minute 1-1 Zoom Session.

    Suitable for beginners
    & experienced meditators.

  • Introduction to Mindfulness

    A 4 week course designed to develop the skills to stop patterns of stress, anxiety and other unhelpful habits.

    You will open up space for self-knowledge, gain clarity to make better decisions, improve focus and productivity and finding more ease and peace in your day-to-day life.

  • MBSR

    Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programme (MBSR) is an eight-week evidence-based programme that offers intensive mindfulness training to assist people with symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, depression, or pain.

    Developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn.
